They have a great variety of music, from vinyl and CDs to acoustic guitars. They sell music-themed clothing and I believe I saw some jewelry in there as well. They have adult coloring books, record players and hats. The facility features indoor and outdoor seating. They have a wide range of coffee both by the bag and by the cup. The people working there are great, and allow you to customize your drinks (including non-dairy options) and prompt you for options such as number of espresso shots and whipped cream. They also have instant oatmeal, fudge, and baked goods like cookies and scones. The owner works behind the counter and is a great guy. Best coffee shop in the area, hands down.
Never disappointed when i go in there. They even ordered my father a CD they didn't have in the store. Nothing negative about this place :)
The most amazing coffee in town! The owner knows my order as I walk through the door. I can always find the cds that I want, and John does not treat you as if he thinks your going to shoplift anything.
Checker Records coffee house and music shop has a flair and atmosphere uniquely all it's own for a coffee shop. The owner has been into music for most of his life and the influence music has had on him, is reflected in the types of coffee and drinks available. Definitely a pleasant experience with a large variety of drink and music choices that will have you wanting more.
OK.OK.. Here's the real deal ! My van broke down in CHECKER RECORDS parking lot, I went inside and was totally amazed by John and Robin's kindness and their true heart giving friendliness! They're Business is beyond ratings, Its totally PHENOMENAL. THEY EVEN WELCOMED MY LITTLE CHIHUAHUA ( BUG) to enjoy one of my life's most surprising establishments (CHECKER RECORDS). I LOVE JOHN N ROBIN, THEY HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD AND ARE CREATIVE GENIUSES... So, go on over and experience a gift from GOD. TELL ME THEM RAY SENT YA :-)..
