Northside is a good vet.... If you have the money. I took my dog in there on Halloween 2017 and my dog was in pain and all they did was a basic physical. It would cost $300 to get her a x-ray and blood work so they could tell me what was wrong and they wouldn't do anything without the money. My dog was in unnecessary pain for hours. We took her to MSU and it took them a few minutes to tell us she had back issues and she had to be put down. She suffered for hours because they wanted the money first and I had been taking her there for years. I am never going back to them.

We love Dr. Wood. He has saved our puppy from very bad things several times. He loves and cares for our pet as if he were his own. I highly recommend Northside!! I love that they do diagnostics - blood work and x-rays, same as us humans have to get real answers.

The receptionist didn't give me take home instructions, other than to feed like normal. My dogs vomited all night the first night. They waited three days to call me to check in after the procedures, my dogs had been vomiting, but again, the receptionist didn't have an answer as to what I should do. i had to ask for blood work prior to anesthesia. I didn't get any pain meds for dental extractions and mass

Caring doctors and excellent staff.

I'm very disappointed. I come here because this is an AAHA Accredited Hospital. I'll start by saying that my dogs are fine. Both had dental care, one had extractions, one had dentistry and masses removed... their care was fine. The problems are with customer service and communication. I never got phone calls after anesthesia, I had to call to find out that they were fine and that I could pick them up. When I picked up, the doctor had no time to speak with me, nor did a technician.

Found a kitten in the road that was hiy by a car and brought it here out of urgency and convenience. We called en route and let them know the cat was bleeding from her eye. When we arrived, they had no sense to prioritize us over any other clients and insisted on getting a history before beginning... even though we had already stated thay we just found it? There was one woman (out of 5 or 6 visible staff) who noticed our distress. The vet finally visited us with good news and kitty is fine.

removals..???? I am disappointed....I spend a lot of money for the pleasure of being treated like they could care less if I ever come in again.
